today for EMR we were testing water samples from the creek and the creek was really good it was the highest O2, the perfect acidity and the 2nd lowest nitrogen levels, the stream was really healthy! Next it was lunch! After lunch our class walked to the hall to to do another activity, we were doing a game where you had to run from one side of the hall to the other and when you got to the other side there was a piece of rubbish in a black basket and you had to get it to your four baskets cyan, gray, green and black. green was compost, cyan was recycling, gray is soft plastics and black was landfill. we won the first round then they introduced the food stained rule where if it was stained it had to go in the compost and they added fairy wings and an earthier cable. Then they said winner takes all and we thought we could easily win but we lost by 2 points but we think it should have been a tie and for there to be a tie breaker. I really enjoy the experience and i cant wait for next weeks one.
